The best horror movie of the year. Expertly paced, masterful control of its creepy tone, and generally very well executed.

The directors are undeniably talented. There was a lot of hype post Sundance by the time I saw the movie. Nevertheless, the movie instantly immerses you. The cinematography and visual style stand out. The ending felt a bit flat to me, but the twists and originality more than made up for it.
