A perfect example of how a first-time director can explode onto the scene by showcasing their unique point of view and telling an entertaining story without a big budget or a lot of bells and whistles. Also yet another example of the edge that strong actors have when transitioning to directing. Eva Victor was as delightful in the lead role as she was telling the story, and its clear her experience as an actor led to the naturalistic and playful performances we got from her cast.
